In two months, the legal minimum wage in the country of Kirlandia will increase from five Kirlandic dollars(KD5.00) Per hour to KD5.50 per hour. Opponents of this increase have argued that the resulting rise in wages will drive the inflation rate up. In fact its impact on wages will probably be negligible, since only a very small proportion of all Kirfandic workers are currently receiving less than KD5.50 per hour.

对这weaken么？

结论是：In fact its impact on wages will probably be negligible。

要找到“不可忽略”的选项来weaken。

我觉得C意思就是，大部分新手大概5块钱，其他老手也就比他们多一点，可能是5.1，那么长5毛钱可能就要长所有人的工资，所以就会影响到全部而不是小部分，所以不能被忽略。

个人意见啦...

前提说会通货膨胀但是结论说不会影响膨胀，
削弱的话就是还是会通货膨胀
因为新来的都长了，老员工也要涨工资，大家都涨了所以还是通货膨胀了

个人理解不知道对不对

第一句话是government's policy, 第二句话是opponents的观点，第三句话是作者的观点或者说是conclusion. 作者其实是不支持opponpents的观点，要被weaken的。weaken一般要想1。除了题目中交代的因素外，还有什么其他因素影响结论。2。题目中交代的因素改变是否导致了会影响结论的其他因素改变。这个题就是minimum wage的上升使整个wage level上升，对conclusion起了weaken的作用。
