(B) as that for earlier generations


(C) just as earlier generations did


(D) as have earlier generations

答案是E，A为什么不可以呢/是说应该是和主语比较么？

   A的like将owning and living in a freestanding house on its own land 和that of earlier generations比较了

为什么A不对? 可以当成是与a goal of a majority of young adults的比较,THAT代替GOAL.

请大家指教!!!

本题构成成一种并列结构, like  似乎不能用于这种复杂的举例, 后面只能放名词

owning and living in a freestanding house on its own land is still a goal of     与后面的 as it was of 并列

that=a goal

正確 但是後面是of earlier generations 所以此時是不是應該要用goals?

這也就解釋了為什麼thatof earlier generations 的that沒有邏輯上的指代
