B.there are fewer than one-quarter as many

C.there are fewer than one-quarter of that amount

D.the number is less than one-quarter the amount

E.it is less than one-quarter of that amount

答案说是C，但是amount是修饰不可数名词的为什么这边可以用呢，还有D为什么错呢，我觉得D没有问题啊，谢谢大家啦～

D在quarter后面要加个of 吧

还有，D中的less 是不是应该改成 smaller啊？
