看了以前的讨论帖子,都一致认为all kinds of paper后面谓语动词该用is.

但我确实记得上XDF时,老师说一个paper,后面是单数动词;而all kinds of paper就是很多种paper,那么后面就该是复数动词啊.

eg:

1. Columbia now has a mixed paper recycling program and ALL kinds of paper are acceptable.

2. All kinds of paper are recyclable in Andover.

3. Notice that not all kinds of paper are available for this option.

4. All kinds of paper are now perfumed to increase sales appeal.

........

本句话是paper of all kinds，强调的是paper，所以应该是单数。all kinds of = plenty of, 数由of后的名词定，所以即使是all kinds of paper，后面也应该用单数。

all kinds of是一个固定搭配，不应该套用those kinds of（用pl）的用法。google上的那些用法可能是把all kinds of和those kinds of混了。

请NN帮忙。

plenty of 纯粹表示量，而all kinds of 不是纯粹表示量，应该还有种类的含义在内吧-----个人意见。请指正。

M-W上的解释： all kinds of 1 : MANY *likes all kinds of sports* 2 : plenty of *has all kinds of time*

这里，paper不可数，所以取plenty of。
