这句话是不是因为前后说的都是老人,用lz的话说是同一事物,所以用they来代替,而不用those哈?

从语法上来说是不是they有时也可以省略啊,比如这句话就直接than are in most western countries

如果是后面带着定语修饰的老人就要用those了。因为they 或者it 指的是之前的整个名词(包括他的修饰成分了)

恩,是哦,好像经常那个看到的that 或those 都是有很长的修饰成分的。那像是这个完全一样用they,能将they省略么?
