In an attempt to make purchasing electric vehicles more attractive to commuters, one electric vehicle producer is planning to offer customer three days free rental of a conventional car for every 1000miles that they drive their electronic vehicle.

答案: Beacause of majority of commuters drive at least 100 miles a week, the cost to the producer of making good and offer would add considerably to the already high price of electric vehicles.

我也是菜菜,一起讨论吧。我的理解是——
题目大意是:对electric vehicles 接受度不高的一个最大障碍就是electric vehicles 不能用于偶尔的extended trips,即使对于只用来通勤的人来说也是如此。因此electric vehicles 的一个厂商的促销手段就是免3天租赁费让消费者使用这种electric vehicles 。题目说削弱这种营销计划的是?
A electric vehicles 是商业用,不需要extened trips——>无关
B大多数通勤的消费者(exclusively for commuting )一周至少100 miles (貌似应该是1000吧??等确认)生产商的成本会增加, electric vehicles 会很贵——>削弱了营销计划的成功
C 什么什么增加环境的负担——>无关吧
D electric vehicles 主要是用于local tri而不是commuting——>营销计划的重点是免费使用3天,不是用途,没有削弱

只是我的理解,大家积极讨论吧

电动汽车不可能广泛使用即时有些人只是很难的远程旅行。为了促销,厂家提供免费的使用给大家。
削弱项说的是这些免费的使用会造成更大的成本,导致商家提高售价来弥补。

你说本来就不怎么好用,又变贵了。谁会去买啊!

我确认了一下 确实是100.。。。当时做这道题就觉得很诡异
