答案是E。
those指代earnings，为什么是...more than double those of 而不是 ... more than double those in...

company's earning 呗。所以用THOSE OF COMPANY.即 EARNINGS OF COMPANY. 不知道你是问这个吗

个人认为in of不是关键
由最开始的exceeding，那就直接把ABC排除了

D不可以看成double （those in） the previous quater的省略么？
E用of是不是有点不恰当啊？请教
