我想请问，（忽略E中的时态问题） 1)D选项中, "with arms and legs hanging" 修饰的是"monkeys"而不是"branches"是不是因为"monkeys" 是中心词，而"on the branches" 是个介词词组修饰monkeys?
2)假设中心词是"monkeys","with arms and legs hanging"修饰的是中心词"monkeys". 为什么“whose arms and legs have hung”修饰的是"branches"而不是中心词? 请解释下相关的语法点。

我想whose引导的从句就近修饰branches吧，而with引导的那个从句只能作为伴随修饰monkeys,因为树枝有手有脚，不符合逻辑吧。作者: recoupsin 时间: 2010-5-17 12:32
