我觉得是因为有了and，句子重心就变成Laos has...和many（people in Laos)....两个并列了；而原本后面的many...这句话的意思只是为了辅助来解释之前的people的，所以OG就说“,and many”的结构过度强调了many...这句话的意思，让它也变成了一个重心。
