标题: received offer frm hkust parttime mba
working in hkg, 7 yrs' international working experience, started mba preparation in last dec, got good gmat(>750), but bad IBET(102) .. only applied hkust pt mba and got the offer now. not sure if i should take the offer or re-take ibet and try better mba program(insead, imd, etc).....

to me, IMD seems to have much larger international exposure...
just curious, how come you would consider UST part-time when you also consider quiting your job?

actually i'm considering whether to attend an mba in hkg or to go for better mba program overseas. if i study mba in hkg, then of course i will choose the part time one. but if i get the chance to attend top mba program overseas, then i will probably quit my job..

then you should give yourself a try on the Top MBA program, or you may regret.

IMD's faculty sucks. It works more like a training school and with no innovative thingking coming out of there. Outside of Europe, it receives little respect among North American peers.
IMD specializes in European entrepreneurship and leadership programs. However, look at Europe, its economy is a bigger mess and there is no hope for the next twenty years.

In China, people follow those ad hoc rankings blindly. talk more to alumni and faculties from various schools and you will have a better idea.

Insead is another story It is a top business school. My ranking is LBS>Insead>HKUST>>IMD

you should also apply to some top American business schools.
