OG里关于D 说“Each state must be compared to all other states”是什么意思？没看明白~~~~

细细品味还是可以意会的：
Each state与All states进行比较，方能凸显出两者的不同，这应该是OG想表达的原意。
（尽管）【所有的洲】都面临浪费问题，（然而）【每个独立洲】的浪费问题都因地制宜，各不相同，（不能一概而论）
括号内是我对原句想突出对比意图进行的补充，相信可以帮助理解。
While有尽管、但是等等转折对比的含义，此时接完整句子。表示与……同时并且主谓与主句相同时常省略主谓直接以V+ing表示伴随动作：
I am writting the post while having my breakfast.
简言之，Each强调个体，All强调整体，从原题作者意图出发，欲表述的是整体与个体浪费问题的差异比较。

关于 aid/help 的，见于og109th：ask sb‘s aid in doing sth
你是不是也可说 ask sb's help in doing sth

可否普及一下这个help aid这两个词什么时候加to啊，什么时候doing啊，他们之间的区别啊之类的知识

做动词时：
aid/assist + in
help万金油，+to do,+do,+sb to do,+sb do皆可
做形容词时一点例外：be helpful in

做名词时：
ask sb's aid in
介词in与aid搭配，非ask的关系

同理，ask sb's help应用to
