我觉得可能是A或E，但是那不准，哪位高人指点一下

原句中画线部分的that has decimated 。。。。。。是指什么呢？

是devastation and enslavement

还是in the name of progress

我觉得是E，

A中has 表示that修饰progress，于是意思上就是：progress has decimated native peoples

E是说：devastation and enslavement have decimated the native peoples

感觉E对，不确定，大家讨论。。。

在这里我认为可能没什么区别。后一个the更象是被省略了。

按照正常语法the A and B＋单数

但是ETS好像为了避免争议，the A and B// the A and the B+ 复数

选E,因为process不能杀人,只有devastation and enslavement可以大量残害人. 通常后面修饰的词时,前面被修饰的要加the
