对于第一个，as varied as列举的是前面的countries而不是主语green taxes。
第二个的话我感觉跟分号后面的we have realized有关，虽然是两个独立的分句，但是后面的分句是说我们已经意识到，所以前面用过去完成时说当时还在认为是免疫的吧。
第三个risk of doing是个比较固定的用法，然后one chance in a million chances中应该省略后面一个chances吧。

在Manhattan论坛学到的， as varied as 表示包括，表示举例，这句话翻译出来就是，所谓的环保税，（。。。），现在对环境和国家，比如/包括中国，荷兰，匈牙利的自然资源有着积极地影响。
B 中的are 没有必要补出来，the countries themselves aren't "varied"， it would be incorrect to say that "the countries are varied", so it's not correct to use the verb "are
D中的 that 引导限定性定语从句， the wrong answer (D) seems to imply that EACH country is somehow as 'varied' as EACH other country. That's not the intended meaning, which is that the SET of countries is varied
我觉得在这里应该把as varied as 看成固定搭配，再举几个例句

不是太理解第三题的比较之间的关系，

as varied as是个和including一样的特例.A并不是限定性修饰，应该只能算是举例。范围不需要缩小，其实只是列举几个不同的国家而已。

苦逼的青年啊，我也如此，连错这三道，PREP07-1的后面30多道错了2个，立刻转到PREP07-2发现一开始的30多道错了10来个，一下子就蔫了~~~郁闷的

再问一个小问题，第8题中，正确答案为过去完成时，但在题干中找不到“过去的过去”的暗示，且题干都是一般现在时，这样就造成了gap?似乎用一般过去时更符合语法？谢谢各位前辈赐教！
