D我觉得改变了句子重心。 原句的重心是说在法国和在美国消费fatty foods的人，重点是人，主语是人。people consume fatty foods at about the same rate 而D，把people去掉，用了被动，相当于改变了主语，因而改变了原句强调的重点。

people consumed in (A and F),这两个国家是一起的，in一起修饰，不存在不对称啊。 B里面也是这样and连接两个国家，后面那个也没有加in啊。
