Anyone could help to explain?
I am confusing about the the plural include and sigular is in the same clause. The that clause should modify tropical birds , then how comes use sigular form verbs? If that clause modifies a group, such use violate the general rules that attributive clause should adhere to the antecendent.

描述的是a group of birds.
解题是看and前后的动词，应该一致， A中 includes and are 不一致 B中 includes and is 一致 c中 include and is 不一致

Thanks for your response. However, I guess you miss my question. I admit that the verbs in parallelism need to be consistent. My concerns is how comes there is inconsistence between a plural subject 'a ground of birds' and singular verb 'íncludes/is'.作者: lijiahui0422 时间: 2010-4-27 19:15
A of B + do,这个形式并不是时时刻刻都是就近原则的，大部分时候需要靠句意的判断 这个题的判断 依据一个是 后面谓语形式的一致 另外你再仔细看一下句意 ovenbird 只是 New World tropical birds 的一个群体， ovenbird 里面有230个speices 如果include是修饰birds，那么意思有改变，成了 New World tropical birds 有230个speices作者: 加菲猫猫 时间: 2010-4-27 19:27
谢谢。我下午又想了一下这道题，此处a group应该是做名词指代graveteiro，而不是作量词a group of 使用，这样就应该用单数了。
