疑惑的是，正确选项C的主语应该是the deer population,而population怎么能with no natural predators and with expanses of green suburban neighborhoods = = 疑惑求教。多谢。

这个with在c中是做原因来解释的。d中不是New Jersey 没有natural predators ，而是deers没有natural predators 。

population 有“（聚居於某地区的）一群或一类的人或动物” 的意思的~
所以the deer population可以表示鹿群~
