标题: 问选择，UW-madison还是Georgetown [打印本页]

标题: 问选择，UW-madison还是Georgetown
帮人问的。

两个学校都没有奖，

但是madison 的学费比Georgetown便宜好多，只要2.5w / y, 而且生活费上Georgetown在大城市，应该贵一些吧。

想问的是，金融方向，madison 少了那么多学费到底值得不值的。因为手头上的钱只够madison的的，要是去Georgetown就要借钱了。毕业以后的薪水差别会很大吗（在金融领域，可能是商业银行，也可能选择咨询公司）。Georgetown的校友资源和地域优势在找工作的时候能有多大作用呢？

B-school ranking: Georgetown (19)>UW-Madison(28);

Location: D.C.>>Madison;

Influence of alumni:Georgetown>>UW-Madison;

Overall reputation&prestige: Georgetown>>UW-Madison;

Average starting salary:Georgetown(114,463)>UW-Madison(100,907);

Average GMAT score:Georgetown(685)>UW-Madison(663);

Number of applicants:Georgetown(1729)>>UW-Madison(526).

It depends on
- kind of career path (job function wise) you want to pursue in future
- the possible region for employment after graduation (Midwest vs East Coast)
- specific industries you want to end up (many manufacturers in Midwest comparing to the East coast)
- reputation in China
and other factors you personally care.

George town。madison的alumni的base不是很好，毕业了很难找工作。。。这是我在美国一个做中介的朋友说的，应该不会错。
