我觉得那个in 不是和except 搭配的，而是指 in the domains。。。 应该从逻辑意思上去理解 如果是except的话，当做连词的时候 后面不能加 名词词组 当做介词时，就表达为除了管理和教学上的统治，（而原意是要说 english 在那方面的统治）因此需要用in这个介词。。 此时except就是做连词使用 而except for是介词。后面跟名词 个人意见哈
