1.        More than thirty years ago Dr. Barbara Mc-Clintock, the Nobel Prize winner, reported that genes can “jump,” as pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another.

(A) as pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another

(B) like pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another

(C) as pearls do that move mysteriously from one necklace to others

(D) like pearls do that move mysteriously from one necklace to othersB

(E) as do pearls that move mysteriously from one necklace to some other one

想问问E是错在do用了倒装还是没有some other one 这种说法?

另外,A do sth,like B doing sth 与 A do sth as B do 哪个更好?

   some other one 也不对,one ...another,固定结构

   A do sth,like B 与 A do sth as B do

A do sth,like B 与 A do sth as B do

A do sth as B do更好.

C。from one to others,

C。D。E用do that move 不如直接用move简洁

根据"from one necklace to another",排除C,D,E

genes can “jump”,  as do pearls that move mysteriously from one necklace to some other one

move mysteriously from one necklace to some other one就是具体描述jump这个动作再补出个do有点多余。

B: genes can “jump”, like pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another

其实可以写为: genes, like pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another, can “jump”,只是因为like pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another太长,所以放在后面了

如果选项中有一个:as pearls move mysteriously from one necklace to another.

513、More than thirty years ago Dr. Barbara Mc-Clintock, the Nobel Prize winner, reported that genes can “jump,” like pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another.

More than thirty years ago Dr. Barbara Mc-Clintock, the Nobel Prize winner, reported that genes can “jump,” as pearls move mysteriously from one necklace to another.

一般来说在句尾应该用as,但是此处pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another明显是一个名词不是一个句子,所以只能用like

(E)选项强调的重心不对,as do pearls that move mysteriously from one necklace to some other one

pearls that... 其实that后的内容只是修饰pearls的,显得跟我们想要打的比方无关;
