看不明白题目是什么意思，主语是什么呀。。。。对于这个among开头的结构有些抓头

我是这么想的。
把选项E倒装一下，就是：The rate at which trees grow is among the surest indications on Earch of sunsport cycles.
(在把这个句子简化，The rate (at which trees grow) is the among the surest indications ( on earth) of sunsport cycle.

再看看A为什么不对：The rate 是单数的主语，所以复数谓语不对，淘汰。
再看看B为什么不对　多了一个it, 所以这个文章有多个主语，是fragment
再看看C为什么不对: 这里on earth 是壮语，放在句子的最前面有强调地点的意思。但是实际上这个句子是强调Rate的。
再看看D为什么不对：没有谓语，是Fragment

楼主问题干意思：在地球上，最令人信服地表明太阳黑子周期的是树生长的速度，在年轮里能看到。

感谢楼上和楼上上~~对于我选错的那个答案..还是不太明白为什么错啊....难道是因为on earth放在前面没有放在后面做后置定语好？

c的话，划线的里面那个their的指代存在歧义，它最近的是sunspot cycles，逻辑逻辑上应该是trees,未划线部分的 as seen 应该要紧跟其修饰的名词。。。大概
