试试解答：A项的主要问题是
1）dwindling是现在分词，不适合作名词的修饰词，因为现在分词不仅是表示过程，而且修饰的名词是它的逻辑主语，在这里就是food supplies dwindles，这不符合逻辑，因为food supplies和dwindle是动宾关系；
2）句末被逗号隔开的的现在分词都是表伴随的（待求证），如果是伴随动作或状态，其逻辑主语都是句子的主语creatures，很明显不是creatures导致resulting动作产生的，所以resulting作伴随动作或状态不合理，如果是伴随结果的话，没有逻辑主语，是整个句子导致了现在分词resulting的动作，即 因：creatures of the seabed were suffering....supplies，果：resulting from increasing...，可是一读句子发现，两者关系其实是因：resulting from increasing...，果：creatures of the seabed were suffering....supplies，所以resulting作伴随结果也不合理，结论：resulting用在这里不合理！
所以，A错！
