根据白勇语法书给我的灌溉，我这么认为的，assure that强调that后所加内容的状态，即the doors are properly closed。结合后文所说的before takeoff，就是说确保在起飞前门是关着的。而不是强调closing，即“关门”这个动作。所以根据前后文判断吧，不一定总是主动优先~~这是我的理解。恩恩~
