(B) the one most recently discovered is the largest, but it is the small one

(D) the more recently discovered one is the large one but the small one（E）

(E) the more recently discovered is the larger, but it is the smaller one

怎么也想不明白阿！！！首局没有one 尾句多了个one 怎么能对呢？

请教大家了~~

I also make wrong choice at first time, but I guess I could understand now

of twin**--> there are two ------> the larger and the smaller

as to 首局没有one 尾句多了个one 怎么能对呢？

I guess, the more recently discovered is the larger (Of the twin supernovas)

我认为E中，the more recently discovered 和the larger对称，这时the larger后无需再出现one，而the smaller one一方面后面有that这个强调，另一方面可与开头的Of the twin supernovas呼应。

ABC都有最高级，错。

D: one is one啰嗦，而且but the small one的意思跟原句(A)的意思相去甚远，同时我觉得is the large one but the small one这种表达还有待商榷。

反对 .我记得从前有两者比较用最高级的阿,而且是在初中老师就举过这样的例子了.?

不是由最高级就错
