Even in the recent recession, Helios’s unemployment rate was lower than the regional average. It is the industrial center of the region, and historically it has provided more than its share of the region’s manufacturing jobs. In addition, Helios is attempting to expand its economic base by attracting companies that focus on research and development of innovative technologies.” 自己觉得有三方面：1）时间差异：历史上如何，可能近些年发生了变化2）错误类比：即使提供了很多制造业的工作，也并不一定对research这类的工作有帮助3）在近期的经济衰退中，失业率低，有可能在十年前，已经达到了衰退的顶峰。又因为它是工业中心，就业人口很大，及时失业率较小，失业人数也明显升高。但是觉得第三点有点牵强，不知道大家都有啥看法，谢谢！！作者: lisa83 时间: 2010-3-14 14:01
