这题考的是对主句和从句的选择能力。两件事情,该选哪个做主句更好呢? 首先从意思上讲,分词短语作伴随状语,其意思应该和主句练习密切 但如果选A,outnumbering...这个分词短语意思和主句就有点远了 其次,英语忌讳头重脚轻,就算要把were written over a period beginning a few years before Susan’s marriage to Emily’s brother and ending shortly before Emily’s death in 1886这个成分作为主句部分,也要把outnumbering引导的分词短语放到前面来,变成 Emily Dickinson’s letters to Susan Huntington Dickinson,outnumbering her letters to anyone else,were written over a period beginning a few years before Susan’s marriage to Emily’s brother and ending shortly before Emily’s death in 1886。
