LZM解释 than anticipated 是习惯用法。。。
呃。。这个解释我实在不能信服啊。这里应该是省略了吧。可是省略了什么啊。 they are anticipated 这个么?

B more ancient than the city known to Homer's heroes .
这里比较的对象是civilization吧。为什么than 后面的是city 啊。那不就成了city 和civilization 的比较了嘛？

我做比较题的时候总是搞不清楚在比较什么。感觉要把逻辑搞清楚就必须要把整个题目都分析清楚，可是这样耗费时间啊，。
我现在刚开始搞语法，做LZM的一个exercise 就要半个多小时，远远超过了他规定的时间。。这怎么办啊。。。
哪个好心人能救救我。。。

1.这里有一个省略比较的对象是deposits of spray 如果lz不明白than anticipated 的话，换一个词来看，than expected，是不是就亲切很多呢？

2.这个题……lz没有明白题目的意思 the German archaeologist S cut through Troy and uncovered a civilization a thousand years more ancient than the city known to Homer's heroes .
这句话是说，S发现了比这座城市古老1000年的文化其实是城市的文化和城市比较逻辑含义上没有冲突的……
