B & C's difference is ",and" , and the explaination of OG is

that C "and when " distorts the meaning , suggesting that ozone is formed in 2 ways.

可是我觉得2者还是差不多啊？谁能给我更具体的解释呢？

我觉得一般来说除了平行对称之外，and后面一般都是整句话啊。。。

但不排除可以省略相同的主谓啊，比如

ozone is formed … and (it is formed) when hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides, … , react …

楼主这样的话，就会改变原来的句意，原文只是一个条件句，如果选C的话，那么when和谁并列呢
