马里兰是个好学校，曾经有看到过某阿克苏诺贝尔的亚太区marketing mgr是这个学校的MBA毕业的，good luck to you!

do anyone get idea about this one, quoted by admission e-mail.

"Congratulations! I am delighted to inform you that your application been recommended for admission to the MBA Program at the Robert H. Smith School of Business! You will shortly receive a separate letter from the Graduate School regarding your official application status to the University of Maryland. "

A seperate letter means e-mail? or a real letter? kind of confused about the status. Anyone got the same condition?

我是选择telephone interview, Smith与其他家最大的不同的方面在于，他们家对于leadership/ teamwork/ how to solve conflict/ your great achievement 等等着墨很深，所以强烈建议各位在面Smith的时候，这些经验可以多准备些会比较好。其他的问题就大同小异了。

另外，Smith 今年蛮严格遵守 R26 L26 S22 W26 Total:100的政策，我第一次submit的托福成绩是 R27 L 27 S 26 W25 Total 105, 他们家寄信跟我说我的W不符, 我后来submit我另一个成绩R :26 L :26 S: 24 W : 26 Total: 103后才ok。

Hope the experiences help a little bit.

我在好几个帖子上看到关于UMD对于TOEFL的强硬政策了，貌似大家都说如果不达分就不review application。
不过我自己是没有到这个分数的，但也给了面试，也没有跟我说过不合规定。
我的总分是100，各项是

23, R26, S22, W29
不知道是不是对说和写卡得比较严。我听力差3分。

I wrote e-mail to ask about my status. Here is the response. The graduate school will send the formal notification of admission via mail. International students should submit all financail documentation before a formal admission offer can be made from UMD.
In my case, I did submit my financial certificate to Smith, not sure if they will tranfer my letter to graduate school international service automatically...I'll write an e-mail again. Hope this will help if someone get any similiar situation.

I get reply from UMD regarding to my admission. It says that I should submit the financial certification which should meet the minimum requirement. Once I mail my supporting document to UMD and finally get the official admission letter from UMD.

Hope this can help someone who is in similar situation.
