MM应该是没看明白问题，问的是：哪条信息可以支持观察者的期望（即近期会发生肉价大跌的情况）？B很好的解释了这一点：因为谷价大涨，导致养猪户无法承受而纷纷提前杀掉养的猪卖肉，导致市场上肉供应量大增，进而导致肉价下跌。

send their livestock to market 是指把牲畜给宰了的意思？

With fewer suppliers这句话的suppliers里指的确实是养猪的，不过这句是在nontheless这个引出需要证明论点的转折词之前，表一般规律。

对的，就是卖肉。
