标题: [求助]OG-8-IT
代词的问题一直是头痛:

答案是D米有问题. 想问的是

B,C,E中的IT-用来指代the amount合理么???参考OG199里面的IT. 这里的IT是不是也有这个错误.

让偶想到那个地震的题目:

Choices A, B, and E use it incorrectly to suggest that the same quake strikes both the eastern and the western United States. In choice C, 100 times the area... than is unidiomatic.

that 代同类物。可以指代amout, 即可以代amout used by any other equipment,

地震的那题也是类似情况。还有OG里面有一条比较protein 的, 好像wheat 和rice 的问题，也涉及到。

此题里头并没有分析这个错误,偶觉得是故意的...

你的理解是对的。OG关于这一点比较含糊的提到了。 D, the best choice, correctly parallels the amount... used by with that used by, in which that is the pronoun substitute for amount. 但没有明确说明It不能代。

that应该指代amount of energy，用省略of energy是解释不通的,used不修饰amount，而是修饰energy，修饰对象energy的省略应该是不可以的。

amount of energy不是amount of energy2.：amount of energy used by unobtrusive...才是amount of energy2。

斑竹，这个怎么用it/that来解释呢？这里是应该用特指还是泛指呢？

我认为错误的原因是rate不能用fast来形容。这样就排除掉A,B,D。

A选项为什么不对？他没有吧protein 和 wheat比啊，than后面不是有个that指代protein么。。。。C和D除了it的问题，也有拿protein和wheat比较的嫌疑么？？？如果把C 和D 中的it换成that是不是就对了呢。求助！！！求助！！

只能是rice作主语才对，其他的都错。所以只剩下B,E 了。
E比较对象不对。
