这道题目看的不是很懂 OG上的解释也模糊 NN们帮我解释下吧~~

原话意思是
Beatrix Potter用其敏锐的观察力以及对nature的love，将书中的插图与自己的叙述巧妙地结合起来~
不选A，因为，1、Beatrix这个主语与谓语capitalized on……距离太远，2、carefully coordinating这个分句没有正确修饰先行词。3、认为是修饰BP的话，时态与capitalized on 的过去时态不搭，混乱~
不选B，carefully coordinating them with her narratives从语法上看是修饰illustrations的，但是，此动作应该是Beatrix做的，而非“插图”做的。
不选D，还是coordinate动作执行问题，是Beatrix做的。
E，此句各个part的关系混乱

试着解释一下
(A)主语Beatrix Potter 与谓语capitalized中间加了2个插入语，choppy
(B)介词短语开头，紧接着跟个分词短语，从形式上来看就不舒服，og说coordinating修饰illustration，逻辑主语错误，看来他是认为-ing分词就近修饰前面的名词了，而不是像在句尾时那样可以跳跃修饰主句主语，这点他的解释我也是不太清楚。whatever，这个形式看上去就不地道。
(C)将B中的分词短语变成了非限定定语从句，正式修饰illustrations，coordinate的主语是she，符合逻辑
(D)coordinate与B P的关系应该是主动关系，而非-ed分词所表示的被动关系
(E)这个我当时没有直接排除掉，但仔细看就会发现，这个逻辑是不对的，in her book illustrations 成为了修饰 coordinate的状语，而coordinate的宾语却又是illstrations ，像是已经站在车上面，还想要拉车一样。
理解有限，请大家指教

og的解释我有一点不理解，A项中的coordinating前根本没有is怎么可能会认为是现在进行时呢？应该只会使-ing分词吧，请nn指教！

OG的解释：(A) The participial phrase does not clearly modify the noun in the preceding phrase; use of the present progressive form of the verb confuses the sequence of time with respect to the past tense of the main verb capitalized.

同样的困惑呢！照我的理解-ing表示的主从句的动作同时发生，-ing可以还原为与主句同时态的动词或一般现在式，但是不能还原为复杂时态的动词形式，比如完成时。A选中
BP, in her book illustrations, carefully coordinating them with her narratives, capitalized on her keen .....
此时，如将-ing 还原应为，
BP, in her book illustrations, which carefully coordinated with her narratives, capitalized on her keen....
虽然还原为非限定定从后，coordinate 的逻主为illustration是错的。但是，至少coordinating 是可以还原为与主句动词同时态的形式的。
所以，对OG中的解释甚是不明啊：use of the present progressive form of the verb confuses the sequence of time with respect to the past tense of the main verb capitalized.

首先，present progressive form of the verb不等于present progressive tense. 你可以把present progressive form of the verb翻译成 "动词的 -ing 形式“

这句话本身的表达是错误的，所以可以从不同的角度来批评。我们可以理解为这句话想表达这样的意思：Beatrix Potter, in her book illustrations, which is carefully coordinated with her narratives, capitalized on her keen observation and love of the natural world. 如果是这样，那么coordinated等同于一个形容词，形容book of illustrations. 这样的话，coordinating可以被说成是错用了present participle，而应该用past participle.

但是这句话也可以理解成carefully coordinating这个短语是用来形容Betrix Potter的，那么翻译过来就是Betrix Potter在coordinating的同时已经capitalized了。这样就是OG所说的错误。

能不能选啊.?

我当时选E是因为觉得coordinated和capitalized这两个动词好parallel啊..就忽略了carefully coordinated them with..的错误..

主要是句子成份的问题，coordinate是用来修饰illustrations的，但是这个动作的主语是BP，所以用动名词方式没办法表达这样的关系，只能用定语从句。对选项E，是把coordinate和capitalize当作同样的成分使用，显然是不对的

改过后的肯定是错的了，句子将会没有谓语动词了

E的解释主要是说对两个过去分词的并列的作用不清楚，如果两个过去分词在这里是并列修饰illustrations，但是这样的话句子就缺了谓语而且也该变了句子结构，因为capitalized在原句中是作谓语的，而不是做修饰成分的；如果两个并列分词在这里是做并列的谓语的话，该句子也不不正确，因为coordinated with her narratives在原句中是修饰成分的，而不是与capitalized并列作句子谓语的，改变了句子结构；

我个人感觉这题还是要从语义上来解决：首先当coordina....这个部分是作为一个modifier的时候它显然是修饰illustration的，因为potter这个人和她的叙述没什么好“调和”的。从语义上来说，如果coordi...这个部分作为和capitalized平行并列的主要内容又不合适：potter将她的illustrations和narratives调和，同时利用了她敏锐的观察和对大自然的爱（实际上后者的利用是前者能够调和的原因和方法，不能并列，何况是前者放在前面）
再来看这个选项：A.coordinating..修饰illustrations，所以是被动，因为是被调和。
B.和A一样的问题
D.违反touch rule，modifier修饰不当。
E.语法上没问题，但是上面说了两个事情并列是不可取的，逻辑中心发生了改变。
所以是D最好了
og上说A里的现在分词形式违反了调和与利用两个事情的先后顺序，这里也是一个关于逻辑顺序的佐证，但我个人对于分词modifier的时态意味不是很感冒，因为主被动和时态有时候不能两全，所以我一般就看主被动（这里我比较迷惑，请各位指教）。
