我的思路：根据主谓一致性排除A,B.然后C,D,E有个最大的不同就是C说的是影响是海洋环境的一个方面，D,E说的是什么东西对全球变暖的影响这件事是一个方面。觉得D的语意更合理，不知道哪里出了问题，请指示，谢谢。

答案是C. 我还是觉得得是那个事情有影响吧，语感太差了呵呵。

对，根据is or are，可以排除 a b
D 后面 use for predicting就不对，use to do something才正确
E 里面的 they没有指代对象，也不对。
其实说“that ocean white caps have an effect on global warming” 是一个aspect就古怪的很。 那个其实的是在说一个fact，但不是一种属性，方面，特点，或者角度，反正aspect就很奇怪。
C什么都很顺，没有问题。

A, B选项中, 主语-谓语不一致.
B, E选项中, they指代不清晰.
剩下C, D.
D的问题并不是used for doing, 这种用法没错. OG12-CR13题目中还出现了这种用法.
D的主要问题在于That ocean white caps have an effect on global warming表述的意思和C中The effect of ocean white caps on global warming不一样. 前者强调一个效应的存在性, 后者强调一个效应本身. 而效应本身被incorporated in detail into computer models更加合理.
另外D中having been incorporated in...和that are used for...虽然表达含义没有问题但是表述方式冗余.
从这两个方面看C优于D.
选C.
