这道题正确答案是A。但是对于这个划线结构我很困惑。
看到网上有的解释说each后面省略了of which is,可是dwelling和roof of poles and arroweed显然不是一个东西，不应该是is的关系而应该是has的关系才对吧？那么A为什么对呢？
我猜想A是否就是传说中的是独立主格结构？那么是不是在这种独立主格情况下，roof of poles and arrowweed就可以修饰dwelling了，即便他们是has的关系？可我怎么觉得这样也怪怪的。。。作者: stucash 时间: 2010-2-4 02:19
我也见到了第一种说法; 不敢苟同, 并且那人许多说法都很值得商榷.
兄弟首先需要清楚each独立主格是强调句尾名词, 即shades; 即便是dwelling,但在这里被称作shades; 一般逻辑上dwelling确实是有roof， 而不可能是roof；但这里恰恰要强调的是， 这种叫shades的dwelling其实每个都是roof，什么样的roof呢？supported by sets in a rectangle。
