问题：

1、A中they指代歧义吗？为什么？

2、A中primarily为什么笔记上说是修饰错误？怎么就知道他不是想修饰creat的？我当时还觉得primary是改变词性呢。。

(goal和to do搭配我知道，只是上面粉色两点)

我个人理解：（A) expressions, to which they will then respond
GMAT里面说是用which都要紧接所修饰的核心词，这里用了逗号，使得they就模糊了，是指代机器人呢，还是指代研究者。
关于primary，我就是觉得读起来primarily creating不顺口，怪怪的，意思也有点别扭。“研究者的主要目的是发明一种机器人”比“研究者的目的是主要发明一种机器人”要来得顺畅些。

但具体的语法解释还需要牛人来帮忙。

（they的确指代不清，跟4楼说的一样。但是这道题更大的问题不是they，robot can identify and then respond,这是有顺序的，respond在identify后面，你不能说identify 那些可以respond的expressions。在很多时候，即使存在代词指代不清，也作为对的选项，是因为相比其他选项他更好一些，但是这里显然除了C，所有选项都有大问题。）
2、A中primarily为什么笔记上说是修饰错误？怎么就知道他不是想修饰creat的？我当时还觉得primary是改变词性呢。。

（逻辑上primary是修饰goal的，语法上primarily修饰creat没错。另外idioms“the goal to do，表示目的”）

怎么知道逻辑上primary是修饰goal的？

这种非语法的东西很难解释，你要不翻译成中文比较一下，看修饰goal和修饰creat有什么不同，从最开始第一句算啊。

这不是这题考试重点，不要钻牛角尖

1. The first "they" refers to robot; the second "they" refers to researcher.... in gmat, in one sentence, 这是大忌，指代只能是唯一的。

2. Primary can only used to refer "goal". For example, you can have primary goal and secondary goal. But "primary" can't use for the action of "create". 要么create,要么不create,没有什么primarily create or secondarily create这么说的。我也不知道再怎么解释了。
