GWD-1-16

1: Soaring television costs accounted for more than half the spending in the presidential campaign of 1992, a greater proportion than it was any previous election.

B: a greater proportion than any previous election

The correct answer offered is B.

2: A certain regulation has done something but has not addressed either logging, which removes only selected trees, or surface fires that burn a vast proportion of forests …

E: logging, removing only selected trees, or surface fires, burning a vast proportion of forests …

The correct answer offered is A, but why the alternative answer E is not right?

3: Since February, a shit organization has raised interest rate targeted (or targeting?) 5 times, and because of the economy’s continued strength, the analysts have been predicting for weeks that the target will be raised again in December.

C: because the economy continues strength, the analysts predicted for weeks that the target would

The correct answer offered is C.  WHY?

4: The principle feature of the redesigned checks is a series of printed instructions that the company hopes will help merchants confirm a check’s authenticity, which include reminders to watch something, compare something-2, and view the watermark while holding the check to the light.

B: by including reminders for watching something, comparing something-2, and viewing

D: including reminders to watch something, compare something2, and view

Which one is better? B? or D? The big cow who prefer the alternative choice B argues that the “by including” modifies the verb “help”.

5: While the rate of mainstream American business failing is more than half, the failure rate for business in a certain country hovers around 5%.

C: while more than half of mainstream American business fails

The correct answer offered is C.

1: Soaring television costs accounted for more than half the spending in the presidential campaign of 1992, a greater proportion than it was any previous election. fficeffice" />

B: a greater proportion than any previous election

The correct answer offered is B.

A 感觉不对。不是主语比较,因此was 无从谈起,而且前面也没有任何词替代。但感觉B也很怪。如果我写这个句子,可能会写成 a greater proportion than that (/the proporotion)    in any previous election.

    分词修饰不好。表示恒定的状态或正在进行的状态。语感不如用从句修饰。就你提供的两个选择而言,A好。

3: Since February, a shit organization has raised interest rate targeted (or targeting?) 5 times, and because of the economy’s continued strength, the analysts have been predicting for weeks that the target will be raised again in December.

C: because the economy continues strength, the analysts predicted for weeks that the target would

The correct answer offered is C.     WHY?

    不知道。continues strength 感觉很怪。

4: The principle feature of the redesigned checks is a series of printed instructions that the company hopes will help merchants confirm a check’s authenticity, which include reminders to watch something, compare something-2, and view the watermark while holding the check to the light.

B: by including reminders for watching something, comparing something-2, and viewing

D: including reminders to watch something, compare something2, and view

Which one is better? B? or D? The big cow who prefer the alternative choice B argues that the “by including” modifies the verb “help”.

    我选B。 从平行角度,D不平行。by including 感觉可以接受。

5: While the rate of mainstream American business failing is more than half, the failure rate for business in a certain country hovers around 5%.

C: while more than half of mainstream American business fails

The correct answer offered is C.

反正A不对。rate 不能用more than 修饰,OG上明确有说。

6: In 1994, a total of 4000 cars and trucks were produced in the ffice:smarttags" />US, but in 1998 almost twice the numbers of trucks alone came off the assembly lines.

D: That number of trucks alone

E: The number of trucks by themselves

Which one is the better?

    两个答案我倾向D。

weiyu 说得对。是我看错了。之前把compare 看成跟including 平行了。一直就没完全读懂这个句子。现在看明白了。

The principle feature of the redesigned checks is a series of printed instructions that the company hopes will help merchants confirm a check’s authenticity, including reminders to watch something, compare something2, and view .....

including 不是修饰什么help的。而是instructions.

The principle feature of the redesigned checks is a series of printed instructions, including reminders to watch something, compare something2, and view .....

including 做介词后面的holding 没着落。
作者: nina23    时间: 2004-3-30 03:04

while holding the check to the light. 是修饰view的,怎么会没有着罗那?本题考的不就是平行和WHICH 或者 分词修饰前面句子么, 而且reminders to ....表示目的性, 觉得很不错; by including 怪怪的, 如果不是作分词和非限定从句修饰主句干吗用逗号隔开修饰主句动词,OG中有一句:                     The new contract forbids a strike by the transportation union.

to view 和while holding 平行?

4: The principle feature of the redesigned checks is a series of printed instructions that the company hopes will help merchants confirm a check’s authenticity, which include reminders to watch something, compare something-2, and view the watermark while holding the check to the light. fficeffice" />

B: by including reminders for watching something, comparing something-2, and viewing
D: including reminders to watch something, compare something2, and view
D的原句可以简化为:The principle feature of the redesigned checks is a series of printed instructions, including reminders to watch something, compare something2, and view the watermark while holding the check to the light.     这样有两个问题:
中间被我省掉的部分太长,会让人以为including 是修饰authenticity. 应该加上一个instructions, 重复一下会比较好。
第二个问题:The principle feature of the redesigned checks is a series of printed instruction that ......., including reminders to watch something, compare something2, and view the watermark while holding the check to the light.             holding 的主语到底是什么呢?(顺便说一下while 在这里的用法很不爽。)还是认为这里的holding 有点没着落呀。
不过我也认为MM提到的逗号的问题,加上明显有歧义。现在看哪个答案都不顺眼。

作者: jnlvo    时间: 2004-3-30 14:45
nina23不知“ The new contract forbids a strike by the transportation union.”

4: The principle feature of the redesigned checks is a series of printed instructions that the company hopes will help merchants confirm a check’s authenticity, by including reminders for watching something, comparing something-2, and viewing the watermark while holding the check to the light.

fficeffice" />The principle feature of the redesigned checks 主语;is 谓语;a series of printed instructions 宾语;其后的that是定从先行词;the company hopes是插入语无意义可去掉它;虽然 including作为一个介词,其前不可以加by,但此处including是动名词形式; do sth.    while doing是可以的,不是解题方向。

但是句尾的",by doing"是不是修主句而非定从的,所以最后那部分也可以是定从中一部分?而不会是认为主句中的一部分,没有岐义?

作者: wangdaya    时间: 2004-4-19 16:21

JerryGuan 分析得好!

1、do sth. while doing是可以的,不是解题方向。

2、去掉可以省略部分:The principle feature of the redesigned checks is a series of printed instructions that will help merchants confirm a check’s authenticity, by including reminders ....

3、那么by including reminders ....应该有歧义,可以修饰help...又可以修饰  is a series of printed instructions

所以,还是选D 啊。

这题怎么每次看,我得选项都不同?

作者: cranberry    时间: 2004-4-19 19:18
我觉得INCLUDING以及后面的部分是修饰INSTRCTION的,表明的是INSTRUCTION的内容,如果用BY引导,那么语言的重心是including而不是后面的内容了。

D, the best choice, uses a correct sequence of present and future indicative verb forms—predicts, will fail, and is—in the three related clauses. Density, an abstract “mass” noun, is logically construed with greater than. In A and B, would fail disagrees with the other verbs in tense and mood. Choice A misconstrues density with more numerous than, and B uses the pretentious and illogical word provided for if in a conditional clause after a negative idea (would fail). C’s should fail and was are confusing and inconsistent with predicts. C and E use the absurd phrase timber wolf density. (The wolves are not dense; their population is dense.) E also uses an inconsistent subjunctive form, were, and misconstrues density with more numerous than.

(E) sentences allowing them to remain unconfined while performing specific jobs that benefit the public has

At issue in this question is subject-verb agreement; the number... has risen must be the kernel of the main clause. Choice E, the best answer, uses a singular verb form, has, to agree with the singular subject, the number. Choices A, B, and C mistake criminals for the sentence subject and so incorrectly use the plural verb form have. In B and C the verb phrases (performing... ) do not clearly modify criminals, because another noun (sentences) intrudes, nor do the verb phrases clearly establish temporal relationships among events. D is wordy and imprecise (in their performing of specific jobs).

161. A wildlife expert predicts that the reintroduction of the caribou into northern Minnesota would fail if the density of the timber wolf population in that region is more numerous than one wolf for every 39 square miles.

(A) would fail if the density of the timber wolf population in that region is more numerous than

(B) would fail provided the density of the timber wolf population in that region is more than

(C) should fail if the timber wolf density in that region was greater than

(D) will fail if the density of the timber wolf population in that region is greater thanD

D, the best choice, uses a correct sequence of present and future indicative verb forms—predicts, will fail, and is—in the three related clauses. Density, an abstract “mass” noun, is logically construed with greater than. In A and B, would fail disagrees with the other verbs in tense and mood. 我选D. 我觉得B还有引起歧义的可能,不知道后面的comparing…, viewing是合watching…并列还是和前面的including…并列.因为可以看成

by including reminders for watching…, (for) comparing…, (for) viewing…

或者by including reminders…., (by) comparing…., (by) viewing…..

而且我也觉得这里including…是修饰instructions.至于while holding..的主语问题,我也有想过. 后来我在想如果要考证动作的逻辑主语的话,选择B也有同样问题. By including…..从逻辑上理解, 执行主语应该是checks或者instructions?(我觉得是checks更确切些.)不可能是the company.那么by including reminders for watching something….这里watching的主语是谁呢? 也一样的不明确(我觉得其实这里是suppose了主语是merchants).

所以我选D.

关于现在完成时的意思问题

30.   What was as remarkable as the development of the compact disc has been the use of the new technology to revitalize, in better sound than was ever before possible, some of the classic recorded performances of the pre-LP era.

(A) What was as remarkable as the development of the compact disc

(B) The thing that was as remarkable as developing the compact disc

(C) No less remarkable than the development of the compact disc

(D) Developing the compact disc has been none the less remarkable thanC

(E) Development of the compact disc has been no less remarkable as

Besides being wordy, the clauses beginning What was in A and The thing that was in B cause inconsistencies in verb tense: the use of the new technology cannot logically be described by both the present perfect has been and the past was. In B and D, developing the compact disc is not parallel to the use of new technology to revitalize... performances; in C, the best answer, the noun development is parallel to use. The phrases none the less... than in D and no less... as in E are unidiomatic; the correct form of expression, no less... than, appears in C, the best choice.

如果改为:

What has been as remarkable as the development of the compact disc is the use of the new technology to revitalize, in better sound than was ever before possible, some of the classic recorded performances of the pre-LP era.

错误:先remarkable在有这个东东

88.   The Emperor Augustus, it appears, commissioned an idealized sculpture portrait, the features of which are so unrealistic as to constitute what one scholar calls an “artificial face.”

(A) so unrealistic as to constitute

(B) so unrealistic they constituted

(C) so unrealistic that they have constituted

(D) unrealistic enough so that they constituteA

(E) unrealistic enough so as to constitute

The verbs are and calls indicate that the sculpture is being viewed and judged in the present. Thus, neither the past tense verb constituted (in B) nor the present perfect verb have constituted (in C) is correct; both suggest that the statue’s features once constituted an artificial face but no longer do so. Also, B would be better if that were inserted after so unrealistic, although the omission of that is not ungrammatical. Choices D and E use unidiomatic constructions with enough: unrealistic enough to constitute would be idiomatic, but the use of enough is imprecise and awkward in this context. Choice A, which uses the clear, concise, and idiomatic construction so unrealistic as to constitute, is best. D implies that the term “artificial face” is obsolete when the features are unrealistic??

196. It is possible that Native Americans originally have migrated to the Western Hemisphere over a bridge of land that once existed between Siberia and Alaska.

(A) have migrated to the Western Hemisphere over a bridge of land that once existed

(B) were migrating to the Western Hemisphere over a bridge of land that existed once

(C) migrated over a bridge of land to the Western Hemisphere that once existed

(D) migrated to the Western Hemisphere over a bridge of land that once existedD

(E) were migrating to the Western Hemisphere over a bridge of land existing once

Choice D, the best answer, correctly uses the past-tense verb forms migrated and existed to refer to actions completed in’ the past. Choices A, B, and E present incorrect verb forms for expressing simple past action, and existing once in E is imprecise. Although choice C manages the correct tense, it misplaces the sentence elements so as to suggest that the Western Hemisphere once existed between Siberia and Alaska.

A: 不存在了以后才migrate.

223. As business grows more complex, students majoring in specialized areas like those of finance and marketing have been becoming increasingly successful in the job market.

(A) majoring in specialized areas like those of finance and marketing have been becoming increasingly

(B) who major in such specialized areas as finance and marketing are becoming more and more

(C) who majored in specialized areas such as those of finance and marketing are being increasingly

(D) who major in specialized areas like those of finance and marketing have been becoming more and moreB

(E) having majored in such specialized areas as finance and marketing are being increasingly

The phrase As business grows more complex introduces an ongoing condition that is leading to consequences described in the rest of the sentence. Those consequences should, like the causal condition, be expressed with simple present-tense or present progressive verb forms. Only choice B, the best answer, consistently employs these forms: who major... and... are becoming. In A and D, the use of like rather than such as is incorrect: like makes a comparison; such as introduces examples. In A, C, and D, those of is unnecessary verbiage, and being in C and E is less precise than becoming for describing a pattern of events that is unfolding. A的因果倒置了

235. Spanning more than fifty years, Friedrich Miller began his career in an unpromising apprenticeship as a Sanskrit scholar and culminated in virtually every honor that European governments and learned societies could bestow.

(A) Miller began his career in an unpromising apprenticeship as

(B) Miller’s career began in an unpromising apprenticeship as

(C) Miller’s career began with the unpromising apprenticeship of being

(D) Miller had begun his career with the unpromising apprenticeship of beingB

(E) the career of Miller has begun with an unpromising apprenticeship of

The best answer, B, uses the logical and grammatically correct construction. Spanning more than fifty years, Friedrich Miiller’s career began... and culminated. Note that the noun phrase appearing after the comma is modified by Spanning and serves as the subject of began and culminated. Choice A produces an illogical statement by placing Friedrich Miiller in this subject position. Choice C corrects this error but produces an unidiomatic construction by using apprenticeship of being instead of apprenticeship as. Choice D repeats both this error and the subject error of A. D and E needlessly change the simple past tense began to the past perfect had begun and the present perfect has begun, respectively, and E uses apprenticeship of, which is unidiomatic in this context.

246. Joachim Raff and Giacomo Meyerbeer are examples of the kind of composer who receives popular acclaim while living, often goes into decline after death, and never regains popularity again.

Since February, a shit organization has raised interest rate targeted (or targeting?) 5 times, and because of the economy’s continued strength, the analysts have been predicting for weeks that the target will be raised again in December.

C: because the economy continues strength, the analysts predicted for weeks that the target would

当时比较了A,C半天,实在觉得have been predicting好象是从过去到现在一直在predict,感觉不合理.而且A中的continued strength感觉weird....而对于前面continues....后面predicted....,我就把它看成了the economy continues strength是一种客观事实(可以用一般现在时,因为如果在句子作者看来 the economic过去,现在都在continue strength的话,可以用一般现实时),而the analysts的predict的动作在句子作者讲述时看来是发生在过去,所以用一般过去时.---不知道我这种想法有没有问题.请指正.

mariezhu: continue既是vi., 也是vt., 做vt.时后面可以跟名词。例:The police will continue their investigation.

不过我还是觉得economy continues strength看起来古怪, strength前面需不需要定冠词?MM举的例子我也同样觉得不是太好,为什么不直接说the police will continue to investigate, 或者the investigation will continue.

彻底糊涂了.多指教吧

1: Soaring television costs accounted for more than half the spending in the presidential campaign of 1992, a greater proportion than it was any previous election.

B: a greater proportion than any previous election

The correct answer offered is B.

A 感觉不对。不是主语比较,因此was 无从谈起,而且前面也没有任何词替代。但感觉B也很怪。如果我写这个句子,可能会写成 a greater proportion than that (/the proporotion) in any previous election.

完全同意

2: A certain regulation has done something but has not addressed either logging, which removes only selected trees, or surface fires that burn a vast proportion of forests …

E: logging, removing only selected trees, or surface fires, burning a vast proportion of forests …

The correct answer offered is A, but why the alternative answer E is not right?

分词修饰不好。表示恒定的状态或正在进行的状态。语感不如用从句修饰。就你提供的两个选择而言,A好。

分词有歧义,究竟是做主句的伴随状态还是修饰成分啊!尤其是前面加了逗号,更加说明这个问题

所以用从句

3: Since February, a shit organization has raised interest rate targeted (or targeting?) 5 times, and because of the economy’s continued strength, the analysts have been predicting for weeks that the target will be raised again in December.

C: because the economy continues strength, the analysts predicted for weeks that the target would

The correct answer offered is C.  WHY?

首先because of后面只能跟简洁的名词,象这样有又是所有格又是修饰成分的不行,

另外关键的一点是要用would因为是predit预测,would 是有虚拟的含义

其实这样的题目不难,他都would都出来了,大家应该对这个比较敏感,为什么他出would啊,明明前面有will这个其实就是提醒大家注意再读句子,所以

偶一贯强调,有差异的地方就是考点!!

哈哈,我选B,因为大家这样看就知道了The  feature  is instructions that  will help merchants confirm a check’s authenticity, which include reminders to watch something, compare something-2, and view the watermark while holding the check to the light.

如果是which那么必然是修饰instructions的就是说这个支票上有提示包括什么什么什么,那么which和that引导的定语从句(修饰instructions)的是并列的,可是并列的东西怎么能没有and连接呢?!!显然不对

所以只能用iby ncluding表示方式方法

5: While the rate of mainstream American business failing is more than half, the failure rate for business in a certain country hovers around 5%.

C: while more than half of mainstream American business fails

The correct answer offered is C.

反正A不对。rate 不能用more than 修饰,OG上明确有说。

同意只能用higher

6: In 1994, a total of 4000 cars and trucks were produced in the US, but in 1998 almost twice the numbers of trucks alone came off the assembly lines.

D: That number of trucks alone

E: The number of trucks by themselves

Which one is the better?

两个答案我倾向D。

哈哈从句子意思上说alone比较好,因为表示单纯的,就卡车而言

从语法上说themsleves是反身代词

没生命的东西怎么翻过来说自己啊,晕死

including...这里是介词短语,修饰instruction。因为reminders 本身就是instruction 中的一部分。

两点说明

一,这里不是instruction不是和by including一个层次的

你看出来了吗其实是instructions that  will help merchants confirm a check’s authenticity by including

这个by including是定语从句里的部分是和help一个层次,就是说通过在支票上包括一些列的提示来帮助鉴别真伪。。。。

二 to是表目的的介词

这里不是表目的啊

这里的意思是,有关什么什么的提示,如果把for改成about,MM是不是就清楚了呢?

请大家看看885中的一题,以及ets的解释

17.   During the nineteenth century Emily Eden and Fanny Parks journeyed throughout India, sketching and keeping journals forming the basis of news reports about the princely states where they had visited.

In choice A it is not immediately clear whether forming modifies journals or parallels sketching and keeping. Also, where they had visited is wordy and inappropriate for a simple reference to past events. Choice B does not establish who visited the princely states, and that were forming should be that formed. Choice C is unclear because to form could be read as either in order to form or so as to form, and the present perfect have visited does not agree with the past tense journeyed. In choice D, as in choice a, where they had is faulty, and had formed suggests that the journals and news reports existed before the journey. E is best for this question of average difficulty.

是否可以得出如果选by including可能产生一种歧义,就是including 和watching something, comparing something-2, and viewing 平行?

这就是我在前面提出过的疑问...可是没人理....55555
作者: jnlvo    时间: 2004-5-28 00:49

应该不会。句子结构不一样。

我想不是只要句子中有doing出现它们都会被理解成可能平行。

17为什么会理解成平行我想道理跟这题有点类似。

12.   Traveling the back roads of Hungary, in 1905 Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály began their pioneering work in ethnomusicology, and they were armed only with an Edison phonograph and insatiable curiosity.

(A) Traveling the back roads of Hungary, in 1905 Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály began their pioneering work in ethnomusicology, and they were armed only

(B) In 1905, Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály, traveling the back roads of Hungary, began their pioneering work in ethnomusicology, and they were only armed

(C) In 1905 Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály began their pioneering work in ethnomusicology, traveling the back roads of Hungary armed only

(D) Having traveled the back roads of Hungary, in 1905 Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály began their pioneering work in ethnomusicology; they were only armedC

(E) Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály, in 1905 began their pioneering work in ethnomusicology, traveling the back roads of Hungary, arming themselves only

Choices A and B are wordy and imprecise: the phrasing suggests that Bartok and Kodaly were already traveling the back roads of Hungary when they began their pioneering work, not that they traveled the back roads in order to conduct such work. Moreover, and suggests in both cases that they were armed with a phonograph in addition to being on the road, rather than while they were on the road, and only in B is misplaced before the verb armed. Choice C is correct. In choice D, Having traveled… suggests that the two had finished traveling before they began their work in ethnomusicology, and only is again misplaced. Choice E is wordy and awkwardly constructed. The question is a little easier than the average.

traveling the back roads of Hungary armed only,我个人理解这里的armed还是认为修饰主语Béla Bartók and Zoltán Kodály 好,所以17同样forming可以认为是平行于sketching and keeping 一同修饰Emily Eden and Fanny Parks 。

而B中的by including reminders for watching 跟17的结构不一样所以不会产生这种平行的感觉。

1: Soaringtelevision costs accounted for more than half the spending in the presidentialcampaign of 1992, a greater proportion than it was any previous election.

B: agreater proportion than any previous election

Thecorrect answer offered is B.

同意bryony (4楼), 应该是 “a greater proportionthan (that) in any previous election”.

  “that”可以省,但 “in”不可省.

2: Acertain regulation has done something but has not addressed either logging, which removes only selected trees, or surface fires that burn a vastproportion of forests …

E:logging, removing only selected trees, or surface fires, burning a vastproportion of forests … Thecorrect answer offered is A, but why the alternative answer E is not right?

Surely A is better than E here.  现在分词有动作意味,一般修饰句子主语.而且E “logging, removing...” is prettyconfusing.

3: SinceFebruary, a shit organization has raised interest rate targeted (or targeting?)5 times, and because of the economy’s continued strength, the analysts havebeen predicting for weeks that the target will be raised again in December.

C: becausethe economy continues strength, the analysts predicted for weeks that thetarget would

Thecorrect answer offered is C.  WHY?

Thecorrect answer should be A.  未划线部分用的是现在时态”has raised”, it makes no sense whatsoeverto use “predicted” as in C.  “the economy’scontinued strength” is a fairly simple and very common phrase, so it’s O.K. touse “because of”.  “have been predictingfor weeks that ... will ...” is also a pretty common usage.

4: Theprinciple feature of the redesigned checks is a series of printed instructionsthat the company hopes will help merchants confirm a check’s authenticity, whichinclude reminders to watch something, compare something-2, and view thewatermark while holding the check to the light.

B: byincluding reminders for watching something, comparing something-2, and viewing D:including reminders to watch something, compare something2, and view

Which oneis better? B? or D? The big cow who prefer the alternative choice B argues tatthe “by including” modifies the verb “help”.

D.  “...feature ... is a serious of instructions... , including reminders to watch, compare, and view...”  “By including” in B is awkward.

5:While the rate of mainstream American business failing is more than half, the failure rate for business ina certain country hovers around 5%.

C: whilemore than half of mainstream American business fails

Thecorrect answer offered is C.

C mightnot be the best one.  If there is choiceslike “While the failure rate for business in US is about 50%”, choose it.

6: In1994, a total of 4000 cars and trucks were produced in the US, but in 1998 almost twice thenumbers of trucks alone came off the assembly lines.

D: Thatnumber of trucks alone

E: Thenumber of trucks by themselves

Which oneis the better?

D.  “twice that numberof trucks alone”.

我同意robertchu的说法。continued strength 是很常见的说法。下面是引用自美联储主席格林斯潘的发言:“This morning I would like to explore the apparent incongruity between the recent substantial losses on corporate credits and the continued strength of the U.S. banking system”。我也觉得应该选A。C中的predicted和for weeks不搭配,像for weeks, for years, for days这种一直延续到现在的时间状语是经常和完成时搭配的。

我也觉得应该是A

1.the economy's continued strength与the economy continues strong(C答案里好像不是continues strength,而是continuses strong吧!难道偶的版本有错?)意思是不一样的

2.同意P_GMAT说法,continued strength表达并没有错

3.for weeks引导一段时间,应该用完成时,否则一个句子三个时态,太吓人了吧。。。

E: logging, removing only selected trees, or surface fires, burning a vast proportion of forests …

The correct answer offered is A, but why the alternative answer E is not right?

E选项把第一个插入与removing only selected trees删掉,either or的结构在surface fire就可以看作已经结束了,拿这个burning可以看作是主句谓语has的伴随动作或伴随结果,有歧义。

E,the number of trucks,什么意思呢?中心语是number,意思是说这个‘数’came off......。再有那个by themself,我想强调一点是也许我们有办法把一个选项解释的通,但如果还能理解成另外一个意思(卡车被赋予了灵魂自己没事儿干愣就跳下了生产线飞驰在大众面前),那这个选项本就是有问题的,有歧义的。在og中这样的例子很多见吧。og的解释会说:an illogical but possible reading is that......。所以,在考虑如何把一个选项解释通的同时,也要考虑是不是产生了其他的逻辑意思?这就歧义的含义吧。一家之言,仅供参考。
