B有个时态错误。
appeared 用过去式表示已经不存在了。所以have vanished很不好。逻辑意思出了问题。改成E之后两个时态并列逻辑意思就顺畅了。虽然句子读起来很不舒服。

appear不能用过去时，因为还有1%现在还一直存在。

b选项~因为species后面有修饰成分，所以前面要加定冠词the，而且B的时态也错了改变了原句的时态

B C D三个选项一样的错误，原句中appear 和 vanish是并列结构，这三个选项中则其中一个变成了从句，改变了句子的重心
