1.                             Although the manager agreed to a more flexible work schedule, he said that it must be posted on the bulletin board so that both management and labor will know what everyone is assigned to do.fficeffice" />

(A) he said that it must be posted on the bulletin board so that both management and labor will know what everyone is

(B) he said it had to be posted on the bulletin board so that both management and labor knows what everyone is

(C) he said that they would have to post the assignments on the bulletin board so that management and labor knew what everyone was

(D) he said that the schedule would have to be posted on the bulletin board so that both management and labor would know what everyone was

(E) saying that the schedule had to be posted on the bulletin board so that both management and labor would know what everyone had been

A: will know ;B: knows 时态错

C: they would have to 指代错误 schedule 为单数

E: saying

D is better than A, I think
我想了想如果A是正确答案,那么可能是因为B,C,D,E均用了have to be/do-主观色彩表达法一定错!

fficeffice" />

Must表示必须,间接引语中可以用must, had to, would have to.

1. must 和have to 的主客观的区别。

There will have to be a complete ceasefire before the Government will agree to talks.

There has to be an end to the violence.

2. would have to: wordy.

D 有个地方不爽,就是have to be posted ,感觉就象be able to be done,后者是个必错的表达。

“Must表示必须,间接引语中可以用must, had to, would have to.” fficeffice" />

be able/unable to be done. sth having/ having been done肯定错误, 但是没听过说have to be done是不对的呀.

Sullivan also said that while increasing enrollment is one factor in the schedule change, it is not the primary factor.

GMAT RC中有很多的have to be done的例子.
最好have to be done的主语是无生命的东西,如schedule。
确实找到了几个have to be done的例子,而且be似乎还可以省。

If, however, physicists could show that the Earth’s gravitational force has decreased with time, expansion would have to be reconsidered and accommodated.fficeffice" />

If the “new techniques” mentioned in line 31 were applied in studies of biological classifications other than bacteria, which of the following is most likely?

(A) Some of those classifications will have to be reevaluated.

以上两个例子来自阅读,从文中感觉,would/will have to be done 是偏客观的,好像是有了个什么条件,sth.

关键就是tianwan兄说must在表达必需时可以和have to换用了.

这道题主要考MUST与HAVE TO 的区别:
