the following appeared in a daily newspaper:

"the computerized onboard warning system that will be installed in commercial airliners will virtually solve the problem of midair plane collisions. One plane's warning system can receive signals from another's transponder-a radio set that signals a plane's course-in order to determine the likelihood of a collision and recommend evasion action"

能不能指出这片消息的出处，不具有可靠性啊～～～

我的感觉是:

determine the likelihood of a collision 及recommend evasion action不一定就会解决collisions 的问题.

仿佛只要不是自吹自卖，都不能指出信息出处问题，因为信息出处主要是对采集数据的倾向性的指责所以不适用于这种预测题。
我认为首先着手招收点方向应该是这文章太短，所以给你对每一个假设的结果是否会发生的质疑。
比如飞机受到信号未必可以给出合理的Evasion action，甚至导致事故的发生。
雷达信息未必可以可以有效地提供计算出plane's course。
还有过度依赖系统可能导致驾驶员的疏忽，而当信息被其他东西干扰的时候就有可能被disregard the protention dangerouses that may cause the tragety beyong recall.
不知道可以不可以。请批判一下。
