The 32 species that make up the dolphin family are closely related to whales and in fact include the animal known as the killer whale, which can grow to be 30 feet long and is famous for its aggressive hunting pods.

A和B有什么区别吗？看看觉得差不多啊^

这道题要通过句意来解－－30 feet long显然在指killer whale，所以A)没有问题。 B)中that从句结束后，growing ******又继续修饰32 species了，这不是作者原本要表达的意思。退一步讲，就算现实中32 species同样有可能长到30 feet long，根据尊重作者原意的原则，依然应该选A）。不知道我说清楚了吗

这道题要通过句意来解－－30 feet long显然在指killer whale，所以A)没有问题。 B)中that从句结束后，growing ******又继续修饰32 species了，这不是作者原本要表达的意思。退一步讲，就算现实中32 species同样有可能长到30 feet long，根据尊重作者原意的原则，依然应该选A）。不知道我说清楚了吗

嗯，我理解你的意思~但是我当时理解是，growing就是个分词修饰killer whale的。我不大清楚ing的分词和从句在这道题中有什么区别？？

这道题我解释的太牵强了，今天在语法专区里浏览了一下发现growing...可以直接修饰其前面的whale. 我仔细对比了A)和B), 发现as big as 30 feet long里好像big和long这样用显得累赘。

哪位NN可以进来confirm一下？多谢！

非牛路过，不过n久之前看见过牛人的讨论。。
30 feet指长度，不可以用big啦
