C中whom即可以指代four million people，也可以指代members of hill tribes ，混乱了，同时many of them是个句子，和前句犯了run-on的错误
E中whom是先行词，只能指代 four million people

50题，与过去是比，过去完成时多了一层持续的意思。持续到股民看到growing confidence这个现象的出现。不是怕了一下就完了。而是一直担心害怕，知道看到市场信心恢复的轨迹。

个人感觉50题中had feared 和feared都可以，过去完成时强调这种恐惧已经结束了，过去式表示这种恐惧发生在过去，og里面也没有讲过去式不可以，
比如og12-74：
74.A 1972 agreement between Canada and the United States reduced the amount of phosphates that municipalities are allowed to dump into the Great Lakes.
og解释就讲are allowed 表示这句话的时候还生效，were allowed这句话的时候失效了，这两个都是可以的
