E is the best answer。有个问题，如何确定诸如as....as ...比较的对象呢？

是名词，介词短语，动词不定式……的比较？

就如此题中，B，those指代crimes，第二个as后面的可以当成prevent 的宾语，也平行对称啊

E中把it is 去掉对吗？ 动词不定式的比较

    

有点FT了

A，为什么B不可以呢？把B补全they originally seem to cost

是trun out to cost 和seem to cost的对比，可以这样理解么

     最简单的方法：只要是比较，都是比较句子！


     第2题originally 要用过去时态，而且省略的若不引起歧义，旧省略，那样简洁

此外，第二题B选项分裂了不定式（比较经典的英语错误）
