25. There should be a greater use of gasohol. Gasohol is a mixture of alcohol and gasoline, and has a higher octane rating and fewer carbon monoxide emissions than straight gasoline. Burning gasohol adds no more carbon dioxide to the atmosphere than plants remove by photosynthesis.

A. Cars run less well on gasoline than they do on gasohol.

B. Since less gasoline is needed with the use of gasohol, an energy shortage is less likely.

答案是C。

C: 汽车行驶一公里平均需要使用的gasohol比gasoline多，这说明了gasohol的一项劣势，不能起到支持作用

我的理解———gasohol里所含gasoline 比使用gasoline的量少，总体成本低于gasoline的话，

即使gasohol用多一点也没影响吧。

E: 燃烧gasoline产生的二氧化碳比植物能消化的多，而argument中说gasohol产生的二氧化碳不比植物光合作用时能移除的多，所以优势显而易见。

我的理解是———E选项是argument最后一句的相反意思，所以weaken argument.

E是加强吧。。。Burning gasohol 产生的二氧化碳能被光合作用吸收（文中说），E说Burning gasoline 产生的二氧化碳不能被光合作用完全吸收。强对比哦。。。

那怎么会是strength呢，就应该削弱才对。

Strength的话不应该是与文中意思一致吗？

E是说gasoline 产生的 carbon dioxide > 植物能除掉的
题干说， gasoho 产生的 carbon dioxide < 植物能除掉的

也就是说gasoline 产生的 carbon dioxide > gasoho 产生的 carbon dioxide
所以gasoho 比 gasoline好啊，所以支持

如果E与文中是强对比，（感觉意思是相反）

那怎么会是strength呢，就应该削弱才对。

Strength的话不应该是与文中意思一致吗？

我知道自己错在哪里了。

我把原文的最后一句和E选项的 gasohol和gasoline看成一样的了。

大家一定要注意看题哦。

gh比gs好。汽车用gs产生的二氧化碳不会超出植物能光合作用处理完的二氧化碳量。
要找削弱或是无关。
A，车用gs的时候，更差。加强。
B，加强。
C，同样情况下，车用gh的量会多一点。错选：看到slightly，觉得可以忽略gh的这个劣势，但我忘了，即使有slightly，也不能掩盖，这个选项说的是gh的弱点。反正肯定不是加强。
D， Gh的好处。加强。
E， Gs的坏处。加强。
注：得出“gh比gs好”这个结论是最重要的，这两个单词长得像，一定要看清楚，选项说的到底是谁更好谁更差。
