I got rejected by 4 schools by now. who else are applying phd in acctg? Who knows if they will give an interview before admission? Haven't even got one email from the other schools i applied about interview yet.

I am applying some accounting Ph.D. I got 2 interviews. However, I just got a ding letter from one of them. Damn, I wasted a very good chance.

I think that maybe I made a fatal mistake before the interview...

Waiting.....

Another interview is on next week.

You've got two interviews! That's great! Can I ask you what is your background? You must've got high GMAT score too.

Just the oppsite, a very low GMATscore, comparing with most CD's NIUNIU.

GMAT分不高是我这次申请最大的软肋，所以这次TOP 20 都没敢碰----知道这个世界上牛人太多。sheyuan 说佩服，汗颜中...

我硕士毕业，以前在校背景不错。参加过几个大型项目，发表过一些论文。2年工作经验。

You're great. May I know where you are? in China or in USA? which schools have given you interview? I applied to Ph.D. acct, denied by some already. I am almost hopeless now.

I was told that once your GMAT score hit some standard, they will focus more on some other factors such as your personal statement, working experience, and quantitative skills etc. Of course, very high GMAT score helps a lot. Anyway, you must have strong background. No need to be so humbled.
