答案是D，但是我认为D不对！因为这个题目是examine和decide平行，中间还套着environment和condition平行，大平行套小平行为了区分不是应该在and前加“，”么？？？所有选项里就D没有逗号，为什么偏偏D对呢？？

为什么B不对？？我觉得B的主语one才能yield啊

第一题我选C。。

its指fund还是alaska不明确
(B) fund, the intention of which is to sustain the states economy after they have exhausted their oil reserves
they/their 指谁？

简明 a fund intended to do something...
(D) fund intended to sustain the states economy after exhausting its oil reserves
同A，its指的是谁？
(E) fund that they intend to sustain the states economy after oil reserves are exhausted
they是指谁？

那个environment平行可以忽略吧。。这句话可以简化为

The normative model of strategic decision-making suggests that executives examine ... and ...decide.

能简化为这样的只有D选项。。所以选了D。。

这道我选A，是deep relaxation作为一种放松的方式可以yielding such psychological rewards as relief from stress..而不是one(指人）可以

多谢！但是第一道题中的fund后面直接加intended, 这句话主体是什么呢？intended的主语是谁？做什么成分呢？一点连接词都没有啊

n. + (-ed) v. 过去分词做定语修饰名词，前面的名词即它的主语，是动作的承受方，有被动意思。
fund是被用来意图维持经济的。

关于“逗号”，在and的并列中并不是一个致命的问题----换句话说，我们不足以凭借此kill掉一个选项。对于A选项，有两个问题：

1# in using vs using;

1*using the set of objective criteria, manages can decide on a strategy || Geting a 800 scores in GMAT, I successfully apply a full schoolarship.
2*in using the set of objective criteria, manages can decide on a strategy|| By geting a 800 scores in GMAT, I successfully apply a full schoolarship.

在doing sth, sb do...|| sb,doing sth, do...结构中，显然2*要比1*组句子wordy！当然，介词+doing并不是在什么时候都没效率，比如当他们在句尾：在以下两个句子中，介词是不能省略的，否则就有歧义。

1*manages can decide on a strategy by using the set of objective criteria. || I successfully apply a full schoolarship by geting a 800 scores in GMAT.
2*manages can decide on a strategy using the set of objective criteria. || I successfully apply a full schoolarship geting a 800 scores in GMAT.

相信楼主现在看出了为什么GMAT要认为此句中 using要比in using好了。

2# managers,using the set of objective criteria they derive from these analyses(=executives examine a firm’s external environment and internal conditions), can decide on a strategy .
从前文可以看出these analyses是managers做的，自然criteria也是they derive的。所有they 无须重复，否则冗余。

为什么不是 the immune systems 做主语呢？
选项D E 错在哪里？请指教

还是由于主动优于被动？？

第一道题目,我研究了一下指代的问题,有一些个人理解,请大家来看看

c. 由于intended to ...after doing ...整个部分都是修饰fund,所以这个部分内的it的指代都是指代fund,所以指代的是fund,与逻辑相悖.
如果after从句并不从属于intended to...的这个修饰部分,则it指代主句主语(如果主语是单数的话)

同意2楼的答案与说明，

第一题，选项A里面的错误我在罗嗦下：

1, ",with the intention to"，逻辑主语是句子主语Alaska，与原意不符，不过似乎Alaska也说得通？
2, ",with the intention to"，和” after the exhaustion of its oil reserves“，不如动词简洁；
3, 就是its指代比较模糊；

选项D的错误，主要是after exhausting的逻辑主语不清楚，是句子主语Alaska还是紧邻的economy？如果改成C里面的被动语态，这个问题就解决了。

关于逗号，其实逗号放在and后面更好，告诉读句子的人后边还有内容。而且不足于就因为这个而不选他，要从整句的意思决定

manhattan中给出的是 X and Y,当从句并列才用 X, and Y。这里并列的两个成分并不是句子，所以应该是X and Y，但由于插入了一个ing，才有X and，ing，Y。

这题我也做错了，现在来重新整理下答题思路：

(B) one can strengthen the immune system through deep relaxation, if it is practiced regularly
(C) the immune system can be strengthened as a result of deep relaxation if practiced regularly
(D) when deep relaxation is practiced regularly, the immune system can be strengthened
(E) when practiced regularly, the results of deep relaxation can be to strengthen the immune system

从后面的未划线部分produce来看，就知道划线部分的主语必须是produce动作的发出者。能够produce更多好处的，一定是物，不是人，首先就排除B和E（因为result不能produce）了。
剩下ACD的问题就是：究竟是immune system还是deep relaxation是动作的发出者呢？
接着往未划线部分的前半句看。能够从relief stress上yield的，免疫系统很明显做不到释放压力，能释放压力的只能是充分的放松（这个应该属于常识了吧。。。）
所以句意分析只有A了。
