不是说抽象名词+that>+of嘛？这题为什么不选that？

另外to do不是应该修饰位于吗？怎么修饰上名词了？

B中的they指代歧义，到底是companies还是those.
n. + to do 是不定式做修饰的一种用法啊～ ... a way to get through ...

我倒是觉得不选B的原因不是那个those。第一，我觉得B的那个状语位置in 1999不是很好。我觉得这句话的意思，是想说1999年通过了这个法案。但是如果把1999放在那个法案名称的后面这句话是有两个意思的。一个是通过了1999年的那个法案。至于这个1999年的法案是1999通过还是2000通过就不知道了。第二个就是在1999通过了那个法案。而且，which虽然在Gmat里面有时候不是最近修饰原则，但是如果选项里面有最近修饰，最好还是最近修饰吧！the intent of selling. 我觉得就是selling的目的。那个新东方的规则，我觉得还是不要用了吧……我没上过课，但是我是看的flash。刚开始我做题的时候，也是老照着那个方法。结果错的稀里哗啦的。他的那个方法，就是做他挑出来的题比较管用。况且，这种又不是固定搭配，是一定错的。怎么能根据这个定义排除选项呢？

那你觉得for可以表目的吗？

因为总是说to do表目的。现在这里of也表了目的了。。

不是这个意思的啊！A of B这个结构总是没问题的吧？B的A，那个intent of sell一样的道理。这里不是指标目的了，而是就是intent这个名词。什么的目的。要卖出去的目的。那个for当然不是这种情况了。你说的to do表目的，是说做了什么事情为了干什么。这种表目的！现在人家就是说（卖它的目的）。不用那种干了什么为了去干什么的方式~ 换一种说法而已啊！

嗯！但是也有动词只能和介词搭配的~ 我不知道算不算是所谓的表目的。比如prohibite sb from doing sth等等。

我觉得不算，这句话的意思是防止某人做某事，不是防止某人为了做某事。
