C is not right: the conclusion is about the status change when inflation is negligible , so what will happen in times of inflation is irrelevant.

2. 选E
C, 不对, 因为无论price是否rise fast in times of inflation, 政府给多给pension, 总还是比少给的要好, 所以还是better-off
E, 子女一般都会供养父母, enough to provid them with a comfortable living,
以前政府pension少, 对于elder而言, 是comfortable living, 因为子女会给钱多
现在政府pension多, 对于elder而言, 还是comfortable living, 因为子女给钱相应就少, 总之达到comfortable living就ok, 所以是没区别.
例如: comfortable living的标准是100/月, 以前政府出20, 子女就出80, 保证elder能comfortable
现在政府出70, 子女之需要出30, 还是保证elder能comfortable,
