C 我觉得and also一般是错的至少 AS WELL AS 比它好而且 fewer 不能修饰carbon dioxide（不可数） they指代不明确

楼主看错了A中才是emitting和brun不平行

D中也出现了and also .并且they指代不明确。
that have a comparable size不如
of comparable size简洁

E that have a comparable size不如
of comparable size简洁 they指代不明确

答案是A。所以我不理解为什么emitting和burn不平行也可以...

好像是固定搭配楼主看笔记是PREP原题 A DO STH as well as doing !

分词结构在句末表伴随，前面的 as well as 是作副词修饰
