In1852 Robert Angus Smith published a detailed report of the chemistry of rain kin a large area around the city of Manchester, England, noting that the closer one came to town, the more the city air would become increasingly acidic.

A.

B.
that the city air became increasingly acidic the closer one came to town

C.

搜了一下，好像没人问到这一题。 我的问题是 A答案的结构是很好的，但是 more 与 increasingly 不是重复吗？ 如果这题没有increasely 我会义无反顾的选A，但是考虑了一下还是选了C。 请走过路过的朋友们帮忙解释下~谢谢~

什么破题啊!! 没一个顺眼的!!!
C. coming closer to town, the city air became increasingly acidic
the city air 是主语, 不合理
A和B我无法决定!!但是B更丑些
the city air became increasingly acidic the closer one came to town
the closer one前无逗号, 所以不是the more...the more 结构, 普通结构
所以容易误解为closer 是修饰one的. 而且B有点改变句意
在那里弄得题!!!

究竟是the closer one was to town先
还是 that the more the city air became increasingly acidic先发生？  哪个在逻辑上优先啊？

MM  这是GWDTN21上的题目啊 答案是A 这题好像是有点怪

太傻   A大解释说C 错在 coming closer to town 没有施动者。谁 comes close to town？

的确可以说没有施动者, 但也可以错误理解成黑题是施动者,是不合逻辑的!
