我对这个题的分析思路：个人认为在Yellow jackets number among the 900 or so species of
the world’s social wasps这个里面，句子的主谓宾结构就都全面了。主语是Yellow jackets, 谓语是number among, 宾语是后面剩下的部分。后面以wasps开始的部分我首先想到的是同位语结构。原因在于在逗号之前就有wasps出现过一次，现在后面的句子再把wasps拿出来然后后面跟着blalbla的一大堆，应该就是在解释这个wasps是个什么东西或者有什么作用。重复一次wasps是为了防止产生歧义，使句子更加的清晰，防止后面的东西解释的对象让人误会。然后看选项，很明显要优选B了，因为B中正好是同位语而且同位语的that没有省略，是句子结构很清晰。提炼一下，就应该是“主谓宾，名词+同位语结构”。A选项的结构式“主谓宾，名词+修饰成分”，感觉句子的重心发生了变化，似乎是要强调这个wasps，而不是强调主谓宾结构了。CDE选项都可以很直观的排除掉。以上就是我个人对AB选项的一些理解。不知阐述和分析的恰当否，辩证看待，不妥之处还望XDJM不吝赐教。
