意思是1920年代中期，Hawthorne的研究主要是一系列密集的试验，用于调查工作环境的变化对于工人工作表现的影响。

B中 investigating the effects修饰experiments, that changes in working conditions...是定语从句，修饰effects。

C.for investigating 原文不表目的错

D.调查的是效果、不是变化

E.to investigate 同C不表目的

不是定语从句是宾语从句吧如果是定语从句，谓语动词主谓不一致
